A Strong Governance at the Service of a Global Player

GEODIS is committed to operating in an ethical and transparent manner. As a result, the Group uses several decision-making bodies to achieve strong governance. A Supervisory Board ensures proper management of the Group by the Executive Board, and a Management Board sets out the main policy directions for the Group and operates the business.

Management Board

The Group’s Management Board is comprised of 14 members: The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, the Corporate Secretary, six Executive Vice Presidents in charge of operational Lines of Business, four Regional clusters and five functional divisions. The Management Board sets the Group strategy and action plans.



Marie-Christine Lombard
Chief Executive Officer

Marie-Christine Lombard is Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of GEODIS. She is a graduate of ESSEC. She has held chief executive positions in the Transport and Logistics sector for over 22 years and has always worked in international environments.

After 11 years in the banking sector at Chemical Bank and Paribas in the USA and France, she joined Jet Services in 1993 as Finance Director. She was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1997 and became Chairman of TNT Express France following TNT’s buyout of Jet Services. In 2004 she was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the entire Express division, then Chief Executive Officer in 2011 when TNT Express became an independent listed company.

She joined the GEODIS Group in October 2012 as Chief Executive Officer, and was named Chairman a year later.

Marie-Christine Lombard sits on the Vinci group Board and is a member of the Supervisory Board of BPCE. She is also a member of board of Ecole Polytechnique.



​Stéphane Cassagne
Corporate Secretary

Stéphane Cassagne joined GEODIS in 1993. He became legal director for Calberson in 1998 and for the group in 2003. Since 2007 he has also been Director of Group Real Estate, Insurance and Customs. He also holds the function of Corporate Secretary at GEODIS since 2013.


Olivier Mélot
Executive Vice President, Distribution & Express

Olivier Mélot joined the Group in 2002 as sales director at GEODIS BM Chimie. He then became sales director at GEODIS BM following a professional experience at Fret SNCF. In 2008 he was named Director of GEODIS BM (Road Transport division), before being appointed Executive Vice President of the Distribution & Express line of business of GEODIS in 2013.


Olivier Royer
Executive Vice President, Road Transport

Before joining GEODIS in 2011, Olivier Royer was Director of Transport Operations at STVA Group as well as a member of the Management Board. He has also worked in Keolis as business unit Managing Director. Olivier Royer is currently Executive Vice President of the Road Transport Line of Business of GEODIS since April 2013. 


Eric Martin-Neuville
Executive Vice President, Freight Forwarding

Eric Martin-Neuville began his career at Calberson International in France in various business development roles. In 1995, he moved to Asia, where he held various management positions within the organization. In 2007, he was responsible for managing the merge between TNT Freight Management and GEODIS. He returned to Europe in 2009 and became Head of Freight Forwarding for Southern Europe before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Freight Forwarding Line of Business in 2013 and Executive Vice President in 2018. 


Boris Pernet
Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Optimization

Before joining GEODIS in 2003, Boris Pernet began his career in 1995 as Transport Manager then Site Manager at STEF TFE. In 2001, he joined Groupe Caillot as Logistics and Transport Site Manager. He joined GEODIS in 2003 as Deputy Director of a subsidiary of GEODIS BM. He then became Director of Engineering for several lines of business and ultimately for the Group. In 2013, he was appointed Managing Director of the Supply Chain Optimization Line of Business.


Laurent Parat
Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics and President & CEO of Western Europe, Middle East & Africa (WEMEA)

Before joining GEODIS in 1997, Laurent Parat served as Financial Controller and Project Engineer in the field of transport and logistics. He then held various positions in the GEODIS Group, such as Contract Logistics Deputy Director, Multi-Business Regional Director (Distribution & Express, Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics) and Sales Director. Laurent Parat has been Vice-President of the Contract Logistics Line of Business since May 2013, prior to taking over the additional responsibility of the WEMEA region in 2018.


Thomas Kraus
President & CEO of North, East & Central Europe

Before joining GEODIS in 2015, Thomas served at several managing positions at TNT. He held various positions in Sales and Marketing as well as assuming responsibility for leading the Group Marketing. In 2006 he assumed responsibility as CEO for TNT Innight - a multi country organization specializing in the in night distribution with 1,200 employees across 7 countries. After the successful turnaround of that business, he was appointed CEO of TNT Express Germany in 2007. A business he led for the following 6 years. He joined GEODIS in 2015 as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer prior to its current responsibilities which he took over in 2018. 


Randy Tucker
Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics US and President & CEO of Americas 

Randy Tucker held various executive leadership positions in technological US-based companies. He joined the OHL executive team in 2011 as Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Project Management Officer before being promoted to President of Warehousing & Transportation Management. After the buyout of OHL by GEODIS in 2015, Randy Tucker served as GEODIS Contract Logistics USA CEO and President and was responsible for all Contract Logistics Operations in North and South America. Since May, 2018, he is Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics US & Head of the Americas Region.


Onno Boots
President & CEO of Asia-Pacific

Onno Boots joined GEODIS in October 2016 as Asia-Pacific Area Director for Freight Forwarding. Prior to this, he was CEO of Celebi Aviation Holding. He began his career in Freight Forwarding at Air Express International and Cargolux Airlines International before joining the TNT Group where he held various positions for more than 20 years, most notably as Director of Asia. He took over his current position at GEODIS in May 2018.


Amaury Valicon
Chief Financial Officer

Amaury Valicon has held a broad range of responsibilities in finance for over 20 years, of which nearly 15 years in the transport industry. After 7 years in the banking sector at BNP Paribas and Bayerische Landesbank in structured finance and securitization, he joined the M&A team of SNCF Participations in 2004. He then moved to the finance direction of SNCF Logistics in 2011 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer of SNCF Logistics in 2014. In January 2018, he was named Group Chief Financial Officer of GEODIS. 


Henri Linière
Chief Information Officer

After 15 years as Business Unit Managing Director in IT services, Henri Linière joined La Rochette company in 1997 as Managing Director of a carton packaging subsidiary. In 2000, he became CIO of Norbert Dentressangle (XPO), also in charge of managing vehicles maintenance and fuel purchasing subsidiaries. In 2012, he joined Louis Dreyfus Commodities, leader in global merchandizing of commodities and processor of agricultural goods, as Global CIO. Henri Linière joined GEODIS as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in September 2015.


Mario Ceccon
Vice President, Human Resources

Mario Ceccon started his career in 1994 at Valeo where he held different management responsibilities in recruitment, training and operational HR roles. He joined the headquarters of Suez in 2000 prior to being promoted to the position of Human Resources Director of Degremont International. He spent the next nine years with Air Liquide, first in France and since 2013 in Asia Pacific based in Shanghai. Mario joined GEODIS in July 2017 as Executive Vice President, Human Resources.


Philippe De Carné
Vice President, Innovation & Business Excellence

Prior to joining GEODIS in 2010 as Human Resources Director for the Road Transport Line of Business, Philippe de Carné worked in the consulting world where he led projects to implement information systems, improve operational performance and transform organizations. Philippe de Carné has been Director of Innovation since 2015. In addition to the position of Vice President Innovation & Business Excellence he holds since May 2018, Philippe de Carné has recently taken responsibility for Business Development and Marketing.

Executive Board

GEODIS' Executive Board is responsible for the management of the company under the supervision of the Supervisory Board. The Executive Board consists of Marie-Christine Lombard, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, and Stéphane Cassagne, Corporate Secretary.
